Sushi

Tonight me and my boyfriend went out for a sushi and sashimi night, to celebrate his first paycheck.

You sit down, and there are all these fabulously looking dishes that are just so inviting;
you start on tasting those that really look delicious, and carry on 'til your stomach says
"wait one moment....i'm a bit too full up!!!"

With a great bottle of white wine -Gavi- we enjoyed our raw fish.
I must say i really do enjoy eating sushi: you have this small dish where you put the soy sauce in and you dip the various sushis' in; i usually put a dash of 'wasabi' in the soy sauce and blend it in - they say that the japs use it as a disinfectant; its that green type paste that, eaten alone, has a horrible taste - then there's the ginger that i really don't suggest to taste, its really strong and may leave a bad taste in your mouth.
The tricky thing about sushi is that its the rice that fills you up: they put these tiny pieces of fish on top of the rice and basically what you are eating is a pinch of fish and a hand full of starch!!
The best restaurant of sushi i've ever been to was in Milano, they bring you an entire meal at a good price.(if you want the address just ask me)

What I have noticed is that sushi bars always have loads of girl dressed at the latest fashion, most of them with tremendous figures. It's like a show-off place, one of those places that "whoever's dressed the best wins" or "whoevers the thinnest win"

I take sushi bars very much, though, in a different way; i could stay there for hours sipping on a good glass of wine, chatting, laughing and enjoying those creative dishes.

Catch up soon
